INCOME TAX REFUND
REVISED INCOME TAX REFUND

My name is Manjula Sehgal and my PAN NO.is ABPPS4056E

I had recieved refund order against my return for AY 10 from SBI's Cash Management Product Centre Mumbai. Since the refund order contained old particulars of my bank a/c therefore I returned the same to refund banker by speed post on14/10.I also forwarded all the particulars to CPC IT Deptt. Banglore vide UPC reciept No.781666277IN dt.29.10.2010.I have still not received my revised refund order. The Call Centre people at CPC informed me that the request is updated in their system but they have no further information. I must say that process of issuing refund is very very cumbersome and highly non transparent. While I request for immediate refund and at the same time I request the Authorities to improve the system and ensure that the revised refund orders are issued within three days. Otherwise what is the use of computerized and centerelized processing centeres.
