IDBI bank sanctioned home loan on fake documents

Hi,

I am working for Software company. I have taken home loan from IDBI bank in Nov. they have sanctioned me 40 laks loan on that perticular property, and I have been paying all my EMI's till date. Finally after 6 months I came to know that the property has been registered with the fake documents. The actual owner of the property has filed a case. I have payed the total amount of Rupees 40 15 = 55 laks for that property. and the most important thing is I have trusted the bank as they have done the complete legal verification of the property and then only they have sanctioned me the loan. on Whom shall I complaint and who is liable for this mistake.

Now that the bank has given me the green signal to buy the property after doing the complete legal verification. I have stepped into buying the property. Please let me know who is liable for this fault that bank has done.
