Check deposit not cleared

Dear Sir,

I deposited the IQC company salary check 27 days before in peravurani branch, state bank of

india.

the amount is RS .2852 /- only (other bank check, salary check, bank name: Lakhsmi Vilas Bank)

but still never any response from bank. i called to partcular branch, they response "there is

no check available that name " like this...

so, my question is "where is the check? " will it stoled by Bank employees of peravurani branch?
