Tax Refund Not yet Paid

I Nitin Gonsalves a former employee of Itree Consulting Pvt. Ltd. havent received my Tax Refund of around 6000 INR, which the company had deducted from my salary as TDS.

Tha Comany had deducted a monthly TDS of around 1140 starting June '09 till Feb '10, and after reviewing my investment declaration have subsequently deposited an amount of around 4800 INR with the Income Tax Department on 22 July (which means they have cornered the interest gained for the period mentioned), neither have they declared about the actual deducted amount in the form16 given to me.

I had followed up with the company for the form16 from April which they delayed giving me one reason or the other, but they had informed me that the company would be giving back the refund.

By then i had left the company and during the full and final settlement they gave me a F&F form that includes the Settlement amount that the company owns to me which also includes the Tax Refund and would be settled by 12 July (I have the documented proof on their Letter Head).

Finally when i got the Form 16 on 24 July I enquired about the refund amount which they said would be given to me by a particular date..but till day I haven't received any.

I have followed up with them with email but havn't received any response from their side.

This is the same case with almost all the employees of the Company.
