Mismanagement caued by the authority

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your kind notice that the market of Reliance Dairy Foods is facing a lot of disturbance owing to the mismanagement of the authority.

Initially there were four distributors of Reliance Milk in the Dehradun market. These were namely:

· Jain & Jain Company

· Alliance Marketing

· Som Dairy

· Ponia brothers

All of us have worked very hard to promote the sales of Reliance Milk and have established a prime market in terms of milk supply and have taken the demands to a very high level along maintaining cooperation amongst each other so as to maintain this level of demand and supply in the market as we had divided the regions and were supplying the product in our respective regions.

However, to disrupt the market maintained by us a new distributor has been appointed in Dehradun particularly in my, Som dairy and alliance areas and one of our lead salesmen has been allotted to him so as to sell his milk. This has caused a big disturbance in the routes of each distributor as each of the distributors has lost a portion of his area to him. This has also lead to a downfall in the demands of all the distributors' milk supply.

The newly appointed distributer is also using foul means to promote his milk sales like misguiding our salesmen by underrating the prices quoted by us.

We are very inquisitive to know the cause behind making him a distributor in the Dehradun market when all the areas of the Dehradun city are already covered?

This has created a lot of disturbance in our market and has caused our sales to readily decline.

We wish to know the benefit that the company derived after making him a distributor. Did it lead to the company's sales promotion?

Previously he was a distributor in Haridwar and when his work failed there he was picked up from Haridwar and brought to Dehradun to become a new distributor. What is the cause behind it? Why is he being promoted so much?

When we enquired this from the area in charge he said it was the decision of the top management and it has nothing to do with him.

We are much shaken with this decision of the Company as we have worked very hard to develop a sound market. Is this the result we were hoping to achieve?

There are many areas around Dehradun which are still uncovered i.e VIkas Nagar, Selaqui (Industrial Area), Doiwala, Herbertpur, Sahestradhara, mussoorie etc, allotting any one of these areas to the newly appointed distributor would not have disturbed the market to such an extent. Also companies’ sales would have increased.

I also had conversation with the canteen departments of I.M.A, I.T.B.P, F.R.I and O.N.G.C and got a positive response from their side as they said that we can supply the product through booths installed within the campus but the management took no action to this and we lost the sales from such major organizations.

My kind request from you is to please look into the issue and enquire the causes behind such mismanagement as it is very painful when we work so hard to set certain goals to enable mutual growth but due to certain reasons we fail.
