Cheating in Tax paying to central gov

the jeypore sugar company is having one ferro alloye plant inside their boundary but it was closed since 10 years. They have dumped their slag in govt.land by saying that it is a waste material since 25years. Now as demand has come for that ferro manganese slag (MnO), the company is selling this slag at a higher rate but billing price is very low to avoid C.E. Tax.

For your information

the market price is Rs.4500/- per MT

the billing price is Rs.1100/-per MT.

Loss in Govt. Revenue 4500 -1100 = 3400/-, Tax @10.3% =350/- per MT. Till now they have sold about 25000 MT of slag.

That means total cheated loss to Govt. till now is Rs.8750000/-
