Double payment

I surinder kaur w/o sodhi singh policy no.162848649, had submmited a cheque (c. no. 163885 of sbi) of Rs7999 as a primium amount in may. But after some time lic office send me a letter saying that they have lost my cheque and ask me to give again the amount .i submmited the amount and the late fee. but now in nov. 2009 lic of india has cashed the cheque without any information.
