Dear Sir,

With regards to Policy No. 654563152 dated : 15/03. Like many other customers / policy holders of LIC Corporation I used to consider LIC as an organization which would help its customers wholeheartedly. To my amaze I found all that dreams your LIC Agents show are fake. I want to share my experience with one of the LIC agent who promised us to get the best deal.

Due to death of my father we requested the agent to get the compensation we are eligible for. He said we can only claim an amount of Rs1.47lakhs. He took around 50 days to get this information. And we waited patiently to hear more updates from him. after about 4-5 months he comes back to us saying we are not eligible to get the that much amount, but we would get the amount that we paid so far with a deduction of about Rs.4000-5000. We agreed to that too. Since we were agreeing to every thing he said. Now he says we would not get a single penny out of it and let go all the amount. Its been about 7 months so far. When we argued with he asks us to file a case against LIC to avail the amount we paid.

My questions to LIC is

1. Does LIC recruit any agent from the road?

2. Does LIC agents atleast understand what is been written in ENGLISH?

3. Does LIC agent read the policy terms and conditions before explaining it to the customers?

4. Is LIC so small company that it took 7months for it to get the reports from hospitals?

5. Are the LIC agents responsible to act according to situations?

With all my discomforts and grievance. I had already asked to discontinue my existing policies. I would like to share the same with my friends and family. Please help me with this issue and bring us some justice.
