Non-operation of ECS payment mode

I hold a policy No.256426575 in my name with Risk date - 26-07 Payment mode - ECS, T-T-PT - 1 91/18.SA. I wish to inform you that since its beginning from August not a single premium has been received by LIC through ECS mandate. I have been paying premia through cheque through my agent. I and my agent, both are at loss as to why ECS mandate is not being exercised in my case. In September I was even advised your office that the policy has been discontinued for want of premia payment whereas there should not have been any lapse whatsoever. I see this as a rather peculiar procedural lapse as my documents were verified and accepted and the policy bond has been received by me.

It is disheartening to note that despite best personal and written efforts, LIC has been stonewalling the issue of operating the ECS mandate causing immense mental and personal trouble as cash permia are required to be tendered at the local LIC office to continue the above policy being a monthly permia policy.
