I got the mode of payment changed a year back and paid all dues. The last paymen tof Rs.1- was made by me in January. When I went to pay the premium due in July, 2-010 I was told that the policy is not existing. I met the Administration Officer, Branch 124, Sat Nagar, New Delhi and placed before him the entire issue. She advised me to make the payment of Rs.2241.00 to activate the policy. I paid the said amount. Later she told me that there is some technical problem and this will be sorted out soon. She also sent me a mail on 18th August stating that the LIC will not levy penalty etc. I met the LIC people again and again including Development Officer ans submitted all documents. I met AO on 26th November and again submitted the papers. She said that she is sending mail to Central Office because the problem is from their side. I am a working lady and have not time to meet LIC people again and again for solving this issue which has taken a considerable time i.e. more than 4 montsh. The concerned agent also persuaded them many times but the problem still remains unsolved. I requested AO in my last application dated 26th December that if the LIC is not able to solve the problem after the expiry of 4 months then the deposited amount with interest be refunded to policy holder to avoid such type of harassment.
