Fixed deposit of not refunded

Iam K.Mahadevan 75 years old almost bedridden due to stroke unable to move out or speak. Placed a Fixed deposit of Rs 10000/- in 1998 bearing receipt number F/0698021734/1 dt 12.6.98 out of my retirement funds but till now I have received only Rs - Can some one help me get my balance amount. Staying at present in Bangalore with my son at 164, 3rd Main, 3rd Cross, 12th Block II Stage, Nagharbhavi Bangalore 560 072 . Ph (080) 23210826/9900572125.

I have huge medical expense often, this amount may be of some help.
