Lloyds Finance Limited
Non-payment of FDRs Deposit matured in 1999

Business & Finance

LLOYDS FINANCE LIMITED

Myself and wife deposited with Lloyds vide F.D.Receipts Nos. 0398008812, 0398008813 and 0398008814 in July, 1998 which matured in July, 1999. I am more than 67 years old. The Law of our country always favors the Industrialists. Despite CLB, Bombay 2 orders, the Lloyds failed to repay the deposits as per the payment schedule and the RBI was unable to look in to the details/grounds on which the CLB decided to declare the payment schedule in its 2 orders. The last letter dated 2.4.2009 I received from the Special Committee, appointed by Hon’ble High Court at Bombay that my case has been considered on compassionate ground, subject to availability of funds. I have approached repeatedly, the Lloyds, CLB, Reserve Bank of India, Special Committee appointed by Hon’ble Court, Bombay and PMO and the correspondence has become more than 200 pages. I do not know, at this old age of more than 67 years and ailing health whom should I approach. During these more than 10 years, the value of my deposits has been reduced to less than 40% and the persons who fraudulently lured us to deposit with Lloyds have enjoyed with our money and now still in the back ground of investor’s suffering. Please take up with right authority to settle our dues.
