BRIBES DURING POLICE VERIFICATION

I am working in an MNC in magarapatta city, hadapsar pune. This city itself have many apartment societies and as police verification is a must to stay here we need to get the approval of the police on a form. These guys 3 years back used to charge around 50 per form and now they are charging 250 odd rupees per person. As we all know bribe is a undetachable aid to police, thier exploitation is increasing a lot. moreover whenever we need to move to a new society in the same magarapatta township, we also need to go for verification again. Advise me to stop these stupid police exploits.
