Loss of original property paper by Bank Of Maharashtra, Preet Vihar Branch

We are availing the credit facility from Preet Vihar Branch since 1994-95. At the time of allowing credit facility by your branch we have deposited our original power of attorney and Sales deed of our residential flat No.9 plot no. 7 Saini enclave Karkardooma Delhi -92 as a collateral security.

In the year 02 your bank revised our credit facility upto 7.5 lakhs. Then they demanded for the registered property paper to allow this enhanced limit. As per the request we submitted registered papers of another property – Housing Plot in Shivalik Group housing society. But they kept the previous papers as an additional security and didn’t return the same.

From the last six months we are demanding our original Power of Attorney and Sales Deed to get the same property registered. But the Bank officials are not able to locate the property papers. To add to this we were so shocked to see that the bank itself doesn’t have its own record relating to these credit facilities.
