Ecovery of legal charges

I am a member in Marvel Co op Hsg Society, Andheri (w) Mumbai 53.I challenged the maintenance/ recovery proceedings before Registrar Co Op Mumbai. For that reason Society has charged me an amount of Rs. 58, 000/- by way of legal charges in my maintenance bill. Am i bound to pay such amount? can I get back the amount? If this is so, no person will challenge any proceedings before any court in society matters. Can the resoulation to that effect is legal? If it so, the same has to be struck off. Pls advice.
