Loan

I have given a cheque agst loan & bank has sign the settlement letter given by the organisation, but bank failed to deposit the same & charged interest for 18 mths, requested bank to reverse this 18 mnths interest & deposit the cheque otherwise it will get bounce, but bank has deposited the cheque & cheque got bounce. now they wants to recover the whole amt from guarantor. please advice what is to be done
