MET LIFE- MET SMART PLUS
CONTRADICTION IN TERMS

Dear Sir,

I have bought MET LIFE's Met Smart Plus Policy and have been paying annualized premium of Rs. 1, 00, 000/-. Sum assured is Rs. 15, 00, 000/-. Maturity period is after 80 yrs. (i.e. When my age would be 100). Til date, I have paid Five installments. The agent said that this policy also covers Life insurance. While I was going through the Policy recently, I found there was no such clause regarding this. Although, My account statement shows that the Company has been deducting Mortality Charges from my Fund Value. I want to know whether this policy provide Life insurance too, beside Unit Link Plan? If yes, then wat additional amount my nominee might be getting on the event of my death beside the fund value?
