MISMATCH OF SURNAME IN PAN CAR D AND BANK ACCOUNT
Mismatch in surname in Pan and bank account

Sir, my premarriage surname in bank account on term deposit jointly with my parent does not match with my after marriage surname shown in my PAN Card and bank has now refused to accept for updation of my pan card for their record.

On the basis of my supporting documents relating to my premarriage status, viz., educational certificate, voter ID etc, I have been issued new PAN card. After my marriage and before issue of pan card, further fixed deposit with the bank was made against submission of the copy of my passport and visa (Parent's name, husbands name, address shown) and also Form 60. I do not find any reason of non acceptance by Bank. Sir, what is your suggestion?
