Harrasment by credit card billing

I hold a credit card of ABN AMRO bank.
This card has never been used and no transaction has been made in it. I recently received a statement asking me to pay the annual charges. I called up the phone and stated that I wont be able to pay the annual charges & so either reverse the charges or cancel the card. I was told that the charges have been reversed and i was given a ref. no. The next month I recd. another statement wherein I was asked to pay a late fee, retail charges & service tax on nil balance amount. I again called up the bank & again I was told to not pay anything and was given a ref. no. Again this month i have recd. a statement wherein all the previous charges have been reversed & again a new set of late fee charges have been levied on no due balance. This time on calling up the bank twice I am being asked to provide a whole lot of details like which phone no. is stated in their records. I have so many phones, how would I remember which no. is stated there. On this i was bluntly told that my request would not be processed although I furnished all the other details to them.
I being a housewife, do not have the time to call the bank again & again for rectification of their mistake in which also they are not co operating. Please look into the matter.
