Credit card Closure

Dear Sir,

I had a Card from ABN AMRO in 2005 after the usage of 3 years i have close the cards with the installment payments as i paid some amount on it. still there is an outstanding of 6000 rs, now i wanna clear the amount of it and get it out from the defaulter list.

Kindly suggest me on this asap...
