Fraud of My Mobile Care

I recently purchased a new Dell AERO Mobile. Within the same day I found some problems with the handset and after the interaction with dell associates they thankfully agreed to replace my handset.

At the time of purchased the Dealer Mobile Planet at district center janakpuri told me that they have tied up with a company who is also offering a 2 years insurance plans for all the handsets and which will be paid serice for 1000 Indian ruppes.

I purchased this handset saving a lot of money from my salary so I thought it would be a great deal to go for insurance.

I purchased the insurance which turn out to be my nightmare.

The insurance was from a company My Mobile Care www.mymobilecare.in registered in palam and operating from district center janakpuri.

When I informed the company about the same, they told me that they wont be able to help me in this matter and also told me that they can refund me the 30% cost of the mobile if i return the mobile to them. I was really pissed off, how can i return the mobile to this company and take 30% of the actual market value when the actual dell company is replacing my handset.

I asked them to adjust this insurance against the new handset but they denied.

They also told me that this insurance will be get lapse. When I tried to contact the owner of the company, I was told that he is not in the office, the company staff didnt let me talk to the company owner and also the mobile number that they gave me for the owner seems to be a wrong number. Every time when I tried to contact the company they put my phone on hold for 10-20 minutes in order to avoid me and make me feel humiliated.

When I asked the company about their registration number, IRDA approval they told me that they do not know about any such, When I told the company that I would make the compalaint to consumer court and IRDA they asked me to go ahead and also told me that they dont care about any such things and they have very high contacts and I can not do anything against them.

I am now stuck up completely and dont know how to deal with such fraudlent companies.

I am writing this blog just to ensure that the same do not happen with any new consumer, dont let your hard earned money to go in the hands of cheaters like My Mobile Care.

The company seems to be a cheater and such companies which do not have any ethics wont go long.

I am also trying to involve IRDA in this matter as this is a serious offense of IRDA policies.
