Collection of Transportation Charges

Is the tranportaiton Charges for the domestic gas supply by the Distributors are authorised?

If so, on what basis. The Indane Gas distributor M/s. Ananth Gass Agencies which is abount

2 KM from our house, now started charging Rs.15/- for each cylinder supply. This according to

them is because thier Stock point is at AEC layout near Kundahalli Gate and it is about 8 KM

away from thier actual office place. Thier claim is that as the trip to and from is more than 10 KM

from our house, charges are justified.

1. Why thier stock point is about 8 KM away when they deal at HAL and Murgeshpalya area?

2. Why they have to start charging it now when as per the information avilable with them it is

as per the order for such collection made by Karnataka Government some time on 06.09.2006.

3. Is the charges are permitted. If so, by whom
