Consumables are being sold over the MRP in Malls

I am working in one of the companies in Ascendas IT park, CSIR Road, Tharamani, Chennai.

In most of the shops in the food court, consumables like drinking water, pepsi etc are being sold over the MRP. For example, AQUAFINA 1 litre bottle is being sold for Rs 26/- where as the MRP is 15/- and for diet coke is being sold for 25/- where as the MRP is 20/-.

Is it the rate they are suppose to sell in that outlet since they are being paid huge amount as rent or they are cheating the customers.
