Dear Sir,

I am a resident of Chandigarh. On the night of 09.11.2010 i visited the hotel Kaptain's Retreat (Owned By Mr Kapil Dev, legendary cricketer) in Sector 35 B Chandigarh, alongwith my family to have dinner. Being hardcore/strict vegetarian, we ordered food which included Paneer Butter Masala, Daal Makhni and 2 Butter Naans. While i had consumed two small pieces of a naan and was about to have the third one, a small pound of fleshy piece dropped out of the fold of the naan. Suspecting, it could be onion, i observed it closely. To my utter shock it was a piece of raw flesh either chicken or fish. I put th esame piece on a paper napkin and handed over to the waiter who took it to the chef and never came back. I also contacted the manager who disowned the responsibility saying, the piece of flesh could have got into the naan as the meat was being chopped nearby the breads. A casual reply... He was least apologetic. I want to lodge a claim for Rs 10000/- as compensation, as being strict vegetarian why due care was not observed while serving /preparing the food ordered by me. Moreover the happy mood of having an outing and dinner with my family was spoiled. Dissapointed, we decided not to have food. Besides my family had to go home without food as beyond 11.00 in the night no good outlet was ready to serve food.
