Hi everyone,

I wish you all to know what happened with me while looking out for a job. I got a mail from (keep in mind the consultancy name) brightcareer1 stating that my cv was shortlisted with them and they have opening for Bank of America, WNS, CASAV, Wipro, IBM etc. They mentioned to call PRIYANKA (the' bitch' in my case) on 8802497994 for further proceedings.

So I rang her, and she said my cv is selected by 4 companies. And told me that I dont have to attend any interview bcoz the consultancy will take care of it. She said she will send me the offer letter from 4 companies for the post of an Analyst if you make a one time payment of 3500 INR. I got my first bad feeling when she said that and was wondering how will a company like BOA will hire somebody what ever his qualification and experience are without an interview. I asked her regarding it and she convinced me they have some internal contact with HR recruiters in those company. So I partly believe her and made the payment in Punjab National Bank in the name of Sandeep Kumar a/c no 6579000100005353 and send her the receipt. She said okay now she will talk with HR and let me know in few minutes. Then no reply from her for almost 4 hours so i txt her and she txt me back saying call 2mrw 11am sharp. The next day i rang her and she said I have make a security deposit of 5000 INR which is refundable after 3 working days, then i again had that bad feeling that this is something fishy. But her talking was tht nice tht you will believe her. Now I made tht payment and sent her the receipt to tht same PNB a/c. Again she asked me to call her the next day morning which I did. Now she is saying she had conversation with HR and they are asking the candidate to pay half of the CTC they are offering me for the job which she said as 23500 INR. I said i will call her back in half an hour and thought about it seriously as I concluded tht I got cheated. I txt her I dont have tht much money so wish to withdraw my aaplication and asked her remit my money 8500 INR back to my account. But she replied just 'can't return the money'. She called me after sometime again trying to convince me make 6000 more she will refund it within 3 days. I said sternly no i dont wish to pay anything more, thn she straight away disconnected the call and I lost my hard earned money.

So guys out their who are just like me so desperate to get into job and willing to pay what ever these consultancies ask you and fall into traps like this, make sure stay away from these ruthless creatures whose only aim is to cheat you and take your money.
