Non-Payment Of Consulting Charges

I was employed by ConsultGenie Consulting Pvt Ltd Bangalore to screen prospective candidates for various skills (Sybase, SCM...). After, an initial period of about 3 to 4 months, they started delaying the payment, often, citing the excuse: Client has not settled their dues. I started getting suspicious about their credibility. I did check up with my contacts in Bangalore and came to know that they cheat unscrupulously. The modus operandi is: Sapna Sashidhar, the HR VP!! makes the initial contact to snare the gullible professional and extract the work. Once, they are well into the assignment, just back out and stop the payments. They also fail to issue the TDS certificate, even though they deduct 10% on monthly basis.

When, contacted, we get a rude and discourteous response. They don't pick up the calls and don't respond to emails. Ashok Sastry is the CEO. He and Sapna are the duo who go about fooling people.

Pls beware of any approach from them. They do a lot of sweet talking, to begin with. But, . they are CHEATS to the core. Sapna is the one, who sets the initial contact.
