Company Keeping Original Certificates for 2 Years

Myself Mr. Amit A. Tadkod recently got an Offer Letter From Enercon India Limited for the Post of Asst. Trainee Engineer in PRI (Grade - J6). They have given me Joining date of 5th Jan at their Daman Office.

The offer letter was given to me by Mr. Sunil Parekh who works at Enercon India Limited at their Corp. Office situated at Mumbai, Andheri (W). While giving the offer letter Mr. Sunil Parekh said that we have to keep our Original Certificates from SSC till Graduation with them as they want 2 Years Commitment from the Employees, but in the offer letter they have mentioned that "Original for Reference and photocopy for records". I have attached the photo of my Offer Letter. I have read the Indian Labour Act in which they have clearly mentioned that no Indian Co. are allowed to keep the Original Certificates of their Employees for records.
