I was asked to immediately contact their authorized travel agent in order to process my VISA and other employment formalities so as to join them by 30th of August. I was told that while all other charges relating to joining the company was paid to this travel agent by my employer, I need to pay for my WORK PERMIT – GBP 850 as mandated in UK Employment Policy document - ARTICLE 4:, Sub-Section 3 of the Expatriate statuary law of the Federal Republic Of UK that employees should pay visa processing fees due to restriction by the federal government and the united nations against terrorist and money laundry act.
