Part time data entry work

I had received an sms about part time data entry jobs available in Harasu infotech. I called up their office and got the job details. It was to convert image files to word documents. The job appeared simple and compensation looked attractive. I registered by paying Rs.4600/- (they ask you to get a stamp paper and get the agreement signed on it) and got my first work allotted to me. Here's the catch:

Each job comprises of around 240-270 images to be converted to MS WORD documents. Each image file takes around 1 hr to type (if you are good at typing) and do the quality check. This would mean you need to spend at least 240 hours a month to complete the work given to you, i.e, at least 10 pages (=8 to 10hrs) a day, to complete the work before the deadline. Their accuracy checks are very stringent and you need to be very careful to avoid spelling, spacing, formatting errors. I now realise that I made a big mistake by registering (none of the amount will be refunded to you, unless you complete 3 jobs with 97% accuracy). Before any one decides to register, do a sample conversion (check their website) and see the time taken. I am sure 99% of the registered applicants do not complete the work on time/meet their accuracy requirements, so it's an easy money making formula for the company. Beware!!

From my personal experience, I advise- do not go for any part time job opportunity, if it requires you to invest any money.
