Hi,

It more than 7 to 10 years the Auto drivers in Chennai have used Meter to charge the passengers. The government has not taken any action till date for this.

I took an auto from Chinthadripet to Egmore which is hardly less than 1.5kms. The driver is charging more Rs. 40. The union that auto drivers have should be broken and a fixed meter rate should be used by all the auto drivers.

Auto should have meters installed in the auto and should charge only based on the meter rate.
