Non reciept of car booking amount on cancellation of booking

SUB: FAILURE OF CAR DEALER TO RETURN BOOKING AMOUNT.

I am Major Janmeet Singh Kulaar. I had booked 'Maruti Swift' car on 11 Aug with Autopace Network Pvt. Ltd., industrial area, Phase-I chandigarh. Booking amount of Rs 50, 000 (fifty thousand) was paid and reciept no. is 392 dated 11 Aug was obtained. Payment was done by cheque number 460869 of Punjab And Sind Bank Dealer, Phase-II Mohali. Dealer had then promised delivery of car within one month which did not happen. In November I had requested them to return my booking amount as I changed my plan to buy the car. Dealer then kept the original reciept with himself and assured that I will recieve the cheque within one week. I am yet to recieve the cheque. When contacted dealer makes false promises about the check. I am posted in pune and i have to ask my father to time and again go to the dealers but nothing fruitful is happening. The dealer is unnecessarily holding on to the booking amount and harrasing me
