Harassment by Berkeley automobiles Maruti-Suzuki car deale

This is to bring to your kind notice the careless and unprofessional attitude of Berkley Automobiles Ltd. Panchkula.

I booked a Maruti Suzuki Dezire on 5 Feb. 2010 (CB-20780) and gave a bank draft of Rs.50, 000 as a booking amount for the car. I was been assured that the car would be delivered to me within 3 months of the booking date. Since then, I’ve been calling the company every other day to ask if the delivery was ready but did not get any satisfactory answer. Officially, the company was supposed to deliver the car within or on the completion of 3 months but it’s been more than 4 months now and I have no clue as when would be the car delivered to me. Though, on the day of booking I requested the company to give me the delivery as soon as possible as I was in an urgent need of the car. I have visited the company too a couple of times but every time I call or visit the company, not even once have I received any satisfactory answer. All I am listening in the past 4 months is that the car would be delivered to you in another 10 days or so. The situation now is such that either the company do not answer my calls or they put me on hold. The attitude of the company is not only unprofessional but inhumane as well which has badly harassed me mentally.

Moreover, I have come to know from some sources that our car has already been delivered to the company 2 or 3 days back. And I called the company up only to hear the same answer as I’ve been hearing from ages now. In this connection, it is very necessary to add that the corruption in the country has reached such a summit that I was being approached by some fellows asking me for some extra money in cash and they were ready to deliver the car the same day but in black. I did not agree and waited for the car but this is the consequence that I’m facing of being patient that I’ve been harassed so badly. The company should atleast had given me a particular date for the delivery or if they could not deliver the car on time they should have informed me atleast. But its really sad to say no attempts from the company were made.

I never wanted to say all this but then everything has its limit and I’ve had enough. So I’m forced to write this now. I request you to take some immediate action
