CONSUMER COMPLAINT FOR ADULTERED PETROL

Dear Sir,

Subject: Complaint against Bhatia Service Station for supplying adulterated petrol to complainant

I would like to bring to your notice that I, Anuj Bhatt, got petrol filled in my Discover bike from Bhatia Service Station, 4, Factory Road, Ring Road, Delhi. The transaction took place on 06.04.2010 for an amount of Rs. 400/- The payment for the transaction was made with my credit card. The invoice number for the transaction is 009008.

On the morning of 14.04. my bike failed to start. I immediately took my bike to a mechanic and I was shocked to discover one liter of unidentified liquid in the petrol tank.

On an average, Rs. 400/- petrol is sufficient for 400 kms. But, after the above mentioned transaction, the kilometers on the bike was about 300 kms. This reinforced by suspicion of being duped with adulterated petrol from Bhatia Service Station.

Kindly take appropriate and strict action against the concerned Service Station.
