Not allowed to board for being a couple of minutes late

Delhi- Kolkata 2nd April, 6E-273- I had to go to Kolkata at the last minute because my maternal uncle had passed away. I had web-checked in and reached the airport at 5:35 for a 6:05 flight. The lady at the counter was completely indifferent to my repeated pleas and the importance of my going. I accept i was 5 minutes late but there is something known as basic humanity which the airline lacks. Will never travel on Indigo again.
