Ration card & Several

I had applied for adding my wife's name in ration card in September 09di to Ration card office in Kandivali (W), the officer has accepted the application and confirmed that the Ration card officer will visit our house to verify the facts. It's almost a year since that application but my wife's name is still not added. We are a regular tax payer (salaried), if government can set process to ensure the tax returns are filed within the permissible time or else penalize me for the delay. I ask why does not it apply to their office? Post independence 60 years we are still at mercy of government, today also millions of Indians don't have basic requirement available Water, Food, house. In most of the cities especially in Maharastra there is power shortage of approx. 8 hours a daily and this has been going on for past 5-7 years. Food prices have been spiraling and even after good monsoon the prices aren't going down, and tonnes of production is going down in drain due to poor storage. When will this all end, when will people stop tolerating and protest such corrupt government.
