AMBIGUITY ON SERVICING/REPAIR IN SERVICING WORKSHOP

Dear Sir

I am closely associated with Maruti since 2002. I owned a car MG 800 Bharat II chassis No 1711041 Regd No PB08 AJ 5225 was purchased from Swani Motors Jallandhar..During my transferable service, apart from Swani Motors I interact with several maruti service station Rajesh Motors Jaipur, Saiservice Pune, Rani Motors Shillong and Podder car world / service station Guwahati since three years. I always send my car for servicing to poddar maruti workshop once in a year. On 04/04/10 I sent my car for yearly servicing and necessary repair. On delivery when I asked for detail bill I got a shock when I observed that labour charge for replace Oil Pan (Sump) is Rs-1200., The Car was under paid servicing, but Caliper pin greasing charge ts Rs 120, cost of grease is Rs- 49.68 . Still I am in puzzle that what the meaning of vehicle servicing, Stabilizer bar rubber bush fitment charge is Rs- 120/- . Labor charge on Job work is seems to be very high then other station. It is universal truth that Quality and speed of work is always very from man to man; Calculation of working hrs should not to leave on the hand of floor supervisor or technicians worked on the job.. It is really possible for a reputed organization that on the basis of average job work data there are some preset time for particular job might be fixed by the Maruti udyog Ltd, . I wish to pay the bill amount through ATM Card but casher says 2% service charges to be charged extra (over and above the amount) as service charge, why it is? VAT already charged from me on the repair bill. That is also under question marks “? ”

Other than those mentioned above labour charge for some particular job are also found very high, In view of the above I am sure that if all assys? sub assys procured from the sources for a car the assembling charge for a new car to be double of the cost pf whole items,

Kindly look in to the matter and take prompt action on the subject so that USERS NOT TO SUFFER for due course. It is also requested that kindly confirm/intimate the correctness of labor charge charged to me with authority of MUL please
