Damaged items on delivery of household items

I, Dr Amit Sharma, am working in Indian Navy as Medical Officer. I booked my Household items for shifting from Tuticorin to Mumbai from Chennai Packers and Movers on 24 Dec 09. I paid a total amount of Rs 21, 990.00 inclusive of the charges of Rs 2400.00 meant for insurance of items for an amount of Rs 2, 00, 000. I received my Items on 04 Jan 10 at 2300 hrs, therefore I could not check the condition of the items at that time. Subsequently when I checked my luggage the next day following damages were noticed

(a) 01 in no. Colour television (Sony Wega 21’’) found broken.

(b) 01 in no. Temple found broken.

(c) 01 in no. Washing machine stand found broken.

(d) 04 in no. Glass crockery found broken.

(e) 01 in no. Fountain show piece found broken

I informed their executives in Mumbai, Tuticorin & in Chennai immediately through no. of telephone calls but in exchange I received a very rude and bland response which has caused a lot of mental agony to me and my family. Till todate No one has attended to the complaints made by me or has come for a visit to inspect the damaged items. Also I have not received the original bill from them as was promised to me by their Tuticorin representative at the time of packing of my luggage. I ve mailed them many a times but i did not recieve any response from them till todate. Now i want to lodge a consumer complaint against them. Any body can guide me please.
