Tampering the odomete

We bought a 2008 Scorpio form Citizen Cars, Banswadi. The digital odometer showed some 50, 000 odd KM. The care was in otherwise very good condition and there was no need doubt anything. We kept on asking for service records, but they never shared then with us. Kept saying the car was not serviced with the official dealer after the one year warranty. After buying the car, we found out the car had actually been driven around 150000 KM and the odometer had been tampered with.
