I want to highlight my bad experience with Delhi Cab (011-44333222). I booked a cab yesterday (12 april) afternoon for today morning at 8.30 from Mayur Vihar to Okhla. The call center person confirmed the booking and gave me the booking number AGA15440. I did not receive any sms till 8 am today morning for the cab details. So I called up to check the status, I was told that I would receive sms shortly. I waited till 8.25am but did not receive any sms or any call for the details. So I had to call up again at 8.30am. A guy picked up the phone and put me on hold when I told him the booking number. He kept me on hold for long time. Finally we called again at 8.40am to check if the cab is coming or not. A girl picked the phone and said that there was some breakdown, so they are sending another cab after 30 min.
We have been booking cabs with Megacab & Easycab for a long time, but have never faced any such issues. The cab always comes half an hour before the scheduled time. We have booked this Delhi cab for the first time and had a very bad experience. There was no professionalism as nobody even called or sent a sms to update the status. Whenever we called we were put on hold for more than 10 min, which is simply not acceptable. My husband, for whom I booked the cab, almost missed an important meeting. Eventually he was forced to take a cab from nearby taxistand and rushed to the meeting venue. He could barely managed to reach the venue in time. All this inconvenience was caused due to absolutely unprofessional and pathetic services offered by Delhi Cab.
