Sub: Harassment for issue of Boarding Pass by Ground Staff

Ref: Indigo Flight Number 6E 275, Ticket Number WCJYCN1, WCJYCN2 & WCJYCN3

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that my sister name Mrs Jyoti Kheria had traveled from Kolkata to Chennai yesterday i.e. 03-06 in Indigo flight no 6E 275, Ticket Number WCJYCN1, WCJYCN2 & WCJYCN3 along with her 1 Infant & 1 Child whose ticket is also full paid tickets. At the time of taking Boarding pass from the ticket counter she had been told that she is carrying maximum kgs of hand bags, which is around 10 kgs, and not allowed in the flight.

I would like to state that in spite of having full paid tickets of her 1 child she is eligible to carry maximum of 16 Kgs i.e of herself and 1 child. But the counter representative did harass her, badly behave with my sister and also verbally told that she will not issue the Boarding pass until my sister will not pay extra money for the excess kgs and also told to my sister that “her health is not so good and she should go back and boarding pass will not be issued to her. My sister told that she is okey and can travel and also carrying 2 tickets which are eligible but the counter person did not understand her and harass my sister very badly more than 1 (one) hour. My sister was alone there with 1 infant and 1 child but nobody had neither helped her nor take care-off.

We are a regular customer and always prefer to travel in Indigo Flight and we never face such type of incident in your well organized Indigo services but after this incident this has become ridiculous for us to understand and have to think twice before travel in Indigo Flight in incoming future.

We hope there should be good system in your esteemed Indigo services so that all the passengers can get good services and feel free to travel in Indigo flight.
