Complete lack of Integrity while dealing with customers

I repent the day when I decided to book my first car (chevrolet Spark) from Dulichand Motors pvt ltd. Kolkata. Let me tell you my stary in short. I booked the car a Chevrolet Spark PS model on the 30th December on payment of Rupees 5000. There after I applied for bank loan from SBI on 2nd week of Jan. During this period, I came to know from the dealer that car prices have increased and I have to shell out another 6 thousand more on the earlier price.

Later on the 21st Jan I got the Delivery Order form from SBI which I submitted to the Dealers office and they assured me that I would get the car on the 11th of Feb. On the 6th of Feb they called me up to say that since somebody else had booked the same model that I had booked and his/her money had reached them before SBI could disburse mine, the car would be given to him and that I have to wait till the 18 Feb to get my car.

Then on the 7th Feb, I got another call and this time they tell me that the particular car model which I booked is no more in production and that some new varients of the make are in and that I would have to choose among them.

When I tried to put my point across that why didnt they clarify this before the loan amount was disbursed, they said its what the company has decided. Now when I told them that I want to cancel the deal if they cannot provide me the car which they mentioned on paper before, they said they would charge an additional 2000 rupees for cancellation.

How unjustiied...!

First they made me book a car and on getting the money they say that the model has been discontinued so you better take another model or simply pay the cancellation fees.

I have decided to take my point across to as any forums as possible and if required also go to the Consumers Forum to bring them to book.

So please be aware of these cheats...
