Door handle is faded after 1 month of buying new ca

I bought new Fiat Punto 1.2 Active on 4 jan from Automatrix Mangalore shworoom. But now all 4 door handle covers are faded. I spoke to showroom incharge person, but he told warranty is not applicable for plastic material of the car. Please let me know Is it true. Whom should i complain regrading this.
