Dear All,
I find Garve Hyundai to be a poor quality dealer, though they have got a ward recently from Hyundai for 2nd best dealer.. to my utter surprise..
Last year, I got my ascent serviced and a few weeks later it started making peculiar noise in the front wheel upon braking. I went back to them, they checked and foudn that the new brake pads put by them, was not bolted. Teh bolts had fallen off anf the brake assly was resting over the drum. Huge risk for me! My brake assly was partly damaged, but they refused to put a new one fre of cost, even though it was their fault. Even when they rebolted the assly with new bolts, the bolts used were of improper size and just like a "jugaad".
Recently last month, I got my power widnow repalced, during the assly the rear view mirror operating lever cover was to be removed along with the door trim. They broken the cover. I asked to replace it free, they said they dont have in stock... funny they had rest all in stock.. thye just used quickfix to just somehow fix the cover... typical roadside standard.
Further more, last week I went to get my car estimated for an accident repair and to my shock the coolant had turned rusty. They had replaced the same last time. They tried to fool me by saying that the radiator may be rusted from inside - when I questioned that the radiator is made from Aluminium which cannot catch rust, they had no answers. Then they said may be it is too old. I said the service has taken place 8 months back and the running happened is just around 5K kms.
Still the same vague non technical reasons from their end...
I think they are good for nothing. Hyundai should do a proper audit.
Better avoid...
