Delayed delivery of courier and wrong information given

I have send my important document of my insurance policy by green city courier of gandhinagar branch. at that time the person sitting in office told me that your courier will reach to mumbai mira road address by third day. but it did not reach even after 6 days. when i call office incharge mr kamlesh bhai, he told me that i can not do any thing your courier will take 15 days. when i told him that you should have informed me at time when you were taking my documents. he rudely told that you were given wrong information and i can not do anything. because of this delay my insurance policy of 2 lack got lapsed. i want full compensation of my policy due to dealy and wrong infomation given to me.
