Problems with my Battery Bike

Sir/ Madam,

In the month of October, I had purchased a battery bike in Kolkata from one the authorized Hero dealers and the vehicle came in with a warranty of 1 year. But quite unfortunately, within months of purchasing the same I started facing numerous problems with the electric scooty of Hero company. Tyre punctures, faulty controller device, problems with brakes, horns, headlights and rear lights are some of the most common issues and add to this the harassment of the bike owner!!

Just some days back while I was on my way back home, all of a sudden I found the speedometer displaying a speed of 35km; the accelerator stopped working and once again I had to face harassment in the busy Kolkata traffic. Although I am still within my warranty period, but I had to spend Rs. 500 to bring that bike back home. Yes, one other piece of information, the dealer from whom I purchased the bike had shut down his shop and all services and is all hands-up. Ever since then I have been calling up people and service centers for the same and now I am being informed that I'll have to carry the bike to the service center, which is another 7 kms from my place of residence, and that too with my OWN CONVEYANCE COST.

Some months back also I had to repair a disturbing sound that costed me rs. 400/ - in spite of being within my warranty period.
