Honda Activa
Stiff Handle

On 13.10. 2011 about 1700 hrs in the evening North Paravur showroom of Aryabhangi Motors Alwaye delivered me Activa Honda bearing frame No. ME4JC448JB8514800 which I purchased registering it on my name. The handle is very stiff. I approached the servicing center and reported the matter on 14.10.2011 in the morning and they said this can only be corrected in the first servicing. Why is this so? Am I not entitled to get get a vehicle in perfect condition?

The handle is very stiff to the left side. I still drive a car, and Bajaj scooter and Unicorn two wheeler. I have some substantial experience in driving I find it difficult to handle this Honda Activa The service center is hopeful of getting the mistake corrected itself after the vehicle runs for a month or 750 kilometers. Let it get corrected. But Who will be responsible if I meet with an accident because of this handle disability. I am sorry to mention here that a friend owns an Activa Honda with a defective handle and it is almost 7 years the mistake is not yet corrected.

Another point is the delivery of the vehicle is not transparent. I insisted that I must see the vehicle before it is registered on my name. but the showroom said it can only be seen after registration. The vehicle with any defect is imposed on head of the purchaser. The chance is not given to avoid such a vehicle. The money paid is true and transparent why not the product be so?

I think the people concerned will look into the matter and advise me what to do and advise the servicing center at North Paravur Aryabhangi showroom to do the needful
