Excellent Pathetic Service

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been using DIO for the past 4 years. Recently the front panel of Honda DIO got damaged. I applied for leave & I took my vehicle at Saphire Honda for service. I had requested them to replace the damaged front panel (Black color) also. Service date 24.04.11. Later when I went to take delivery of my vehicle, I was surprised to hear that the panel was not replaced due to non-availability of the stock. A small note was given along with Service Invoice (No. IW1102562) mentioning non-availability. Nobody even bothered to explain also. When I further enquired, the staff gave me the same answer that the stock is not available. When I asked when the stock will be available. The reply from the dealer staff is “No Idea”. What a joke the dealer doesn’t know when the stock is available. My point is, if the stock was not available then why they took vehicle for service? While filling the job card if they had informed me that this panel was not available then I would have gone to other dealer for replacement.
Here, the dealer staff knew that the stock was not available but still they took the vehicle for service. This shows the attitude of the dealer towards the customer. It means to the customer, that give the vehicle for service & the dealer is least bothered about what the customer expects & give back the vehicle & say that this is the maximum we can do & the customer has to take it whether he likes it or not. Wow, what an excellent pathetic customer service.
Later I checked with all other dealers in Bangalore (City, Dhruvdesh, Haiku, Planet & Silicon). Its horrifying to hear the reply I received. None of these dealers are having stock of this particular Front Panel. What to do it’s my fate because I decided to for Honda vehicle. Still I am using the damaged vehicle & if somebody asks why it is not repaired, I am giving the same answer provided by your so called esteemed dealers. Never ever in my life I have struggled so much to get a spare part, & not even for my car. I still can remember the Car dealer giving the exact deadline as to when I can get the spare part if the stock is not available. One more problem I would like to highlight that none of your dealers in Bangalore don’t have the capacity to service the vehicles. Every time they keep saying that they have too many vehicles in backlog & it takes minimum 2 days to service the vehicle. So, now what is the lesson learnt. Why should I stick to a company who doesn’t care & doesn’t have a reasonable customer service. Solution is Change the brand.
