Indicator Lamps are designed to break easily so that spares can be sold. All motorcycle companies have an unholy pact in this regard. An earlier version had it spring loaded so that small bumps would not break it. This is the the most incompatible design and designed especially to break at the first opportunity. One of the maximum breaks in this category from these defectly designed indicator lamps. I have spoken to everyone who owns bikes and they all curse the designers and the motorcycle companies who take us for a royal ride
