Rare noise from Engine area and Sticky dash board

My 2006 model Hyundai Getz GVS car Chassis No. MALBT51HR6M026192, Engine No. G4EA6M142900, bought from Popular Hyundai, Thiruvananthapuram in April made a terrible noise from the engine area while starting in the morning on FOUR different occasions during the past 4 years. The noise was as if some one had put a stick or something into the fan blades. There was no visible objects in the engine area on examination. The noise came again on re-starting three times, and then subsided slowly while idling and the engine was sounding normal. The oil pressure light was not lit up, suggesting it was ok. The agency people could not explain why it happened. THIS HAPPENED ON FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, WHILE STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME ON A DAY, but not on consecutive days or weeks or even months, and on all four times, the noise subsided gradually.

Secondly, the dash-board of the car has become VERY STICKY to touch. The door of the glove- compartment is fine, but around it, it is sticky. The inside of the doors and other areas near and around the gear-shift lever have no problem.

I have met atleast one more Getz GVS owner (from Kochy), who has the same problem with the dash-board.

Any solutions to the above problems?
