Bribe asked for new connection

Sir. My name is Dileep Pandey and I m a resident of Village kharara, Ambedkar nagar district, Post- semri, tehsil-Bhiti. Sir, I have duly applied for a new gas connection to my residence and have fulfilled the required formalities. When I enquired about the procedure in getting the new connection, the concerned official said to pay a sum amount of Rs.4430/- with a new gas burner or Rs.3600 without it. They said that a receipt of Rs.2600/- will be provided while the rest amount of Rs, 1000/- will be taken as bribe. So I want the procedure to be carried out for getting my connection for which i will pay the required charges. And I would also like the concerned authority to check in modus operandi of these corrupt officials.
